This blog is for a university class.  Throughout the semester I will discuss topics revolving around my three favorite games The Sims, GTA, and Star Wars.

Other games that I enjoy are Bethesda games, Diablo, Twisted Metal, Crash Bandicoot, and Guitar Hero.  I’ve played a few RTS’s, and my most favorite one is Total Annihilation: Kingdoms.  I also enjoy playing MMO’s like Elder Scrolls Online, Tera, GTA Online, SWTOR, Path of Exile, Diablo 2&3, and WOW.

Favorite gaming platform: SNES, Dreamcast, 3DS, Playstation, Xbox, and Computer.

I’m also a huge fan of cartoons.  My favorites are from the late 90s early 2000s.

My experience with the games I hope to talk about are as follows:
, I started playing when I was 13 when I was visiting a friend.  We played GTA 3 and I got hooked.  I persuaded my father to buy me the M rated game even though the News stated it was a “cop killer”.  My mom was not happy with me playing but she pointed out that it’s just a game.  I played all of the games then on except the Gameboy Advanced version.  My favorite character from the games is Tommy Vercetti from GTA Vice City.  The one I played the most was GTA 3.  And I would probably have around 8000 or more hours accumulated from all of them.

The Sims
, just like GTA I was introduce by a friend.  I played Sims 1 and had all of the expansions except Hot Date, and I played that game religiously.  I got Sims 2, 3 and 4 the years later but I did not spend all my money on every DLC/ expansion pack.  I mainly got the Seasons, Pets, and whatever genre themed furniture pack like 70s/80s and so forth.

Star Wars
, on the other hand, is just a geek thing.  I love the movies so I tried to get into the games too.  I loved the Battlefront games and played the crap out of those.  But my favorite star wars games are the RPG’s.  Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 as well as Star Wars: The Old Republic (MMO).
